Fort Wayne Autism Center

Our journey working with children with autism began more than 12 years ago working at a center in Indianapolis. In 2006 our center was established with a simple focus on providing great therapy for children with autism and building a unique, awesome and friendly work culture. Not only do we love doing what we do, but also we have a lot of fun working with children! It has been truly gratifying to have been able to help so many children and to watch their progress with simple things such as signs, speech and behavioral development in general. And as we’ve grown, we’ve kept a laser sharp focus on the principles our company was founded on…

We recognize the uniqueness and ability that exists within every child. We also realize that we have a limited window of opportunity to help each child make the maximum possible progress. We work with children with autism spectrum disorders between the ages of 1 and 13 and specialize in providing early intervention, personalized and intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs. Our Early Intervention programs are designed for children under the age of 4 and our intensive programs focus on preparing children for the classroom. Some children who participate in early and intensive ABA for 2 or more years acquire sufficient skills to participate in regular classrooms with little or no additional support by kindergarten or first grade.  Research shows ABA therapy is the most effective evidence-based treatment for Autism.

HopeBridge

Our comprehensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program is based on B.F. Skinner’s principles of behavior.  Hopebridge uses Verbal Behavioral Therapy alongside ABA to impact language development and higher level communication skills for functioning. Additional components to the program will address developmental delays, behavioral issues and socialization. ABA principles can be applied to anyone capable of learning and have been particularly successful for individuals with autism, behavioral concerns and other verbal development disorders.

We have Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA) and Board Certified Associate Behavioral Analysts (BCABA) to conduct clients’ initial assessment, write goals for improvement, and recommend the number of hours our clients are seen by trained ABA Therapists.  Hopebridge’s ABA department utilizes the VB-MAPP assessment tools.  While the BCBA/BCABA oversees the entirety of the ABA program, your child’s direct therapy will be provided by one of our primary therapists. The BCBA/BCABA will follow the course of treatment and your child’s progress toward the set goals through evaluations and consultations with our primary therapists, who receive ongoing training.

Our ABA services are provided at one of our clinics located in the Midwest (Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio).  Our goal is to partner with all those involved in the client’s care to maximize the services they receive.  Various services and disciplines may also encompass speech, physical and occupational therapies, as well as goals provided by the school for the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and/or Individual Service Plan (ISP).

Possibilities northeast

Using ABA since 2016, we have had the pleasure of working with hundreds of children with delayed development through our ABA clinic. At Possibilities Northeast, our goal is to equip children and families with the tools needed to overcome barriers and challenges in daily life.  Our unique program provides a multi-disciplinary approach combining the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with speech, occupational, physical and feeding therapy.  The ability to provide all of these services on-site insures that our therapists regularly collaborate to make the most of your child’s program, resulting in the highest opportunity for growth and development.

Research indicates that social skill development is essential for every child.  The Possibilities program places an emphasis on these skills to increase/improve your child’s ability to participate in family, community and educational activities. Utilizing ABA techniques to build success, social skills are targeted during small group activities, facilitated play and naturally occurring activities such as mealtime. Children approaching the end of their ABA program participate in our mock classroom to focus on classroom associated social skills.
